A couple of quick items...

...and a request for news!

First, the quick items:

1. Congrats and kudos to ADWOFF (A Day Without French Fries, Nora Roberts' fan message board) for their amazing fundraising to benefit Habitat For Humanity in the Gulf Coast. They raised over $520,000!!! The outpouring of support is awe-inspiring. Way to go!

2. Seven great authors have started their own blog -- Vamps and Scamps -- and readers' chat group --ScampsVampsandSpicyRomance. If you're a fan of Lucy Monroe, Dianne Castell, Shiloh Walker, Janice Maynard, Rosemary Laurey, LuAnn McLane, or Toni Blake, check it out!

Now, the request --

I don't know if the publishing world is taking a bit of a break before the Frankfurt Book Fair, or what, but I need news! If you're an author with good news -- hit a bestseller list, sold a book, got a great review -- let me know! If you're connected to the writing community and know of something wonderful being done for the community or the world at large, I'd love to mention it here.

So keep me posted! :)
