Golden Heart and RITA Finalists Announced!

It's an exciting day in the romance writing community! Today, the finalists for the Golden Heart and RITA contests were announced. The Golden Heart recognizes excellence in unpublished romance manuscripts, while the RITA is the top-of-the-heap award for published romance. Congrats to all the finalists!

And extra-special congrats to two finalists in particular -- fellow ORWA members Cherry Adair and Anthea Lawrence. Cherry finalled in the Best Novella category with her story "Playing for Keeps" in the anthology Dare Me, while Anthea and her husband/writing partner finalled in Long Historical with Fortune's Flower.

Congrats to you both! I'm so thrilled for you!
